dissapointed :(

Well the game was awesome and the experience was wonderful but we lost :( the seats were great and we really enjoyed ourself but it would have been nice if we could of won the last home game EVER in that stadium....we couldnt even stay for the after ceremonies to the stadium because we were so dissapointed...i'll post some pics when we get them uploaded on to the computer...it was a LOOOONG night standing for 3 hours!

COWBOY GAME!!!!!

Today we are going to the dallas cowboy game i'm so excited!! i'm really sad that carrson can't go because its a late game and he'll be exhausted probably by the time it even starts and ya right if i can keep him calm and in my lap for 3 hours but he sure does love his tony romo :( poor baby i hope that one day we do get to take him to a game...Hopefully by the time he is ready for that the tickets to the new stadium are a bit cheaper!

its been a LOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGG TIME

i know...so i've been lazy....since september things have been busy! Carrson went as a dragon for Halloween and it was a big hit! he loved it! and loved that we had a big bowl of candy in the house for so long finally i had to get rid of it cause it was becoming a distraction :) in November we enjoyed thanksgiving at rusty's grandmas house which was nice! the whole family got together and we really enjoyed our self. We just had Carrson's 2nd birthday party and he got SO much stuff and we still have christmas yet to go i'm scared! not much else going on for us but cooking baby #2 is going well :)

September 8 was my birthday and we had a blast! we celebrated all weekend and were so tired by the time Monday came around and it was my actual birthday.

Septmeber 24th is our 3 year wedding anniversary holy cow! can you beleive it?! we are going to celebrate with a dinner out just the two of us :D that should be nice :)

back from vegas!

well we are home from our vacation to Vegas and it was so fun! Carrson had a blast and loved the lights at night! we stayed at Treasure Island (TI) and it was very nice. We swam, saw the sharks at Mandalay Bay, went to M&M World, Coke Store it was great! Karmen came in to watch Carrson so we could go out at night and have fun and they had a great time together too! Karmen and I rode the coasters on the top of the stratosphere and they were alright...six flags was better..the view was great though! Carrson did really well on the plane ride to and from as well so we were thankful for that too!

Sorry its been a while.....

Our vacation went really well! on Wednesday we took the kids (carrson and bella) to Fossil Rim Wildlife Park. Its a park where you drive through and the animals come up to the car and you can feed them, they just loved it and had a great time! they only made it half way through the park, after lunch at the midpoint, they fell asleep as soon as we got back in the car, they were so tired but they enjoyed themself. Thursday everyone, (carrson, bella, rusty and I, his mom and dad and my mom) packed up and we went to the zoo they loved seeing all the animals again we got to ride the choo choo train ;) and they both had a great time, its fun seeing smiles on their faces :) Friday we went to a water park in Mansfield called Hawaiian Tropic Falls, we (my mom rusty and I and Carrson) rented a Cabana so we could have some permanent shade when we wanted it and it was the Best time! we will definitely be going back there. Carrson had so much fun in the kids area going down all the slides only one was small enough he could do him self but the others rusty could do with him and he loved them! He wasnt scared at all! at about 3:00 he finally passed out for a nap in the cabana :)

That was our vacation.....a lot of fun! We are going to Vegas in August (7-11) and can't wait! today we are taking carrson out on the boat for the first time I can't wait to see what he thinks. We are going with Rustys brother Rocky and his girlfriend Jennifer I'll take pics and update when we get back :)

VACATION TIME!!!!

We are on vacation this week! mine actually starts Wednesday but Rusty's starts tomorrow and we are going to be having some fun this week! Wednesday we are going to play at the park and play at the water area they have at the park here in town. Thursday we are taking him to the zoo which he will just love now cause he is so good at all the animals, i'm excited to see him with the animals this time. Friday we are going to a water amusment park about 30 min away, which should be lots of fun cause carrson loves the water! I'm excited and can't wait!

We had a good 4th, Rusty's parents cooked briskit, and roasted corn, and hot dogs it was delicious! after the bbq and swimming we went to a central location out in the country to watch all the home fireworks people had bought to shoot off at their house it was great seeing everyones show and not having to pay a penny!

18 month pictures!

We got Carrson's pictures taken this week at Babies R Us....it was tough he didnt want to look at the camera, he wanted to watch the flash go off, which was to the side :) it was fun though...an experience for sure. The baby in the picture with him is our friend Heather and Keatons baby he was born June 3, 2008.

18 months old!

there he is....my 18 month old son! i can NOT believe it! time has flown by so fast. He has quite the personality now, although its being altered by his molars that are coming in :( he is so FUN! he loves to dance, play the drums, play the guitar, kiss babies, give hugs, he loves to slide, and chase our dog around the house, he loves to throw the ball with the big dogs in the back yard, he loves taking walks with mom and dad, he loves being a parrot and trying to repeat what you say, he loves pointing out things that he knows what they are, bird, plane, truck, vrrrm vrrrm (motorcycle), drink, ball, anything really, he talks a lot! 6 more months till he is TWO! which also means 6 more months till christmas (yikes!) He is getting better about running, good for him, bad for us, haha, his legs are straightening out more and more now, i guess the bowed-ness goes away over time, the dr. isnt worried so i try not to be, he is just fine to me thats for sure! In the new house he has a whole entire room dedicated to his toys and he loves it in there, he goes in all the time and just plays and plays. Its so great not to have those toys in the Living Room :) Anyway thats about it for us...Happy Fathers day to the Great, unconditional loving, caring, appreciative dads out there! Carrson sure does have a great one and we are so thankful!

Its been a week!

We have been in our new house for a week! we have all but one room unpacked and figured out. Its the extra bedroom that needs some help but no one lives in there (except for me while i'm working) so there is no rush to get it figured out...we are TIRED of moving and unpacking so who knows when it will get all finished but who cares cause we are going to live here FOREVER! no seriously, forever! Our garage door opener got installed today WOW what a luxury! if you have one dont take it forgranted its awesome! we love it and are so excited to finally be here. I started my new job (same company) and i LOVE it! i get to work from home part of the day and its so great to be just right around the corner from carrson in case he needs me. I still have traci keep him so that i can work but its nice just knowing i'm so close, plus he gets to play with his cousins while he is over there. Thats about it for us I'll get some pics of the house posted soon...we finally found the cord to the camera....YAY!!!!!

TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!

Tomorrow is it! we close on our house! we are so so so so so so SO excited! we both have the next 4 days off to unpack and get settled in and get everything all set up. I think we'll plan to have fathers day at our house :D have everyone over and hang out and have a barbeque and we are getting carrson a little pool for the backyard so they kids can swim, so it should be fun! We have lost the cord to our camera that allows us to post pictures so until i find it, unfortuneatly there will be no pictures, unless i get more handy with the cell phone camera...anyway hopefully we'll find it in the move when we unpack. Our poor house right now is filled with boxes all stacked up everywhere its miserable, we can hardly sit on the couch, but thats ok cause we have ONE MORE DAY!

latest movie i've seen: The Business of Being Born created by Ricki Lake and Abby Epstein its a GREAT GREAT movie and i highly recommend it!

~~~Final Walk Through~~~

The house is READY!!!!!!! We are so so so EXCITED!!! Rusty and I met with the builder and the Inspector and the whole entire house inside and out top to bottom looks PERFECT! everything works and we couldnt be happier or more excited to move in! We close a week from Today on 5-29 the official countdown has begun....and time is moving slow ;) So we will be using our 3 day memorial weekend to pack :( YUCK! I hate packing and moving but will do what it takes to get in to this house! whoo hoo!!!

SWIMMING!!!

We took Carrson swimming this weekend at Heather and Keatons pool in their community and he LOVED it! We went both Saturday and Sunday and he had a great time. Saturday was a tiny bit of an overcast so it was just a bit colder but not too bad and by the end his lips were purple but he was NOT ready to go! Sunday we went back and it was much nicer out side and we all enjoyed some pool time, he even fell, which got his face wet but it didnt faze him any! He is so brave!

I've seen 2 movies in the last 2 weeks....Awake with Jessica Alba it was an alright movie but I hated the ending....so much I wanted to return the whole movie cause it was so disappointing (sp?)
2nd we watched untraceable and it was a great movie, kind of eery cause it COULD happen in real life, but a great movie :)

Dallas Stars BEAT the Detroit Redwings!

Last Night Rusty, Carrson and I enjoyed our very first NHL Hockey game and it was a playoff game too! We were lucky enough to be able to get tickets through my work and, we almost didnt go (cause we arent really in to hockey) but it was so fun! there is nothing like a live hockey game! WOW!!! We were still so pumped up after leaving...even if we would have lost the game (BUT WE DIDNT!) we still would of had just as good a time. Rusty usually puts up a big fight about not going anywhere on work nights but since I had the tickets we went and he had a really great time! He didnt complain once!

Carrson was even really good! We got so many compliments on how well behaved our Toddler was! no screaming no wanting to get down and run around, He loved it and went to sleep about 9:00 the game was far from being over but he fell asleep in the ERGO (our baby carrier) and never woke up till we got home to change his diaper! We were amazed the hockey game really wore him out!

So I know I've had other blogs before but this one is really easy to update and it can be about the whole family and not just carrson so here it is!

Here is whats happening for the martins right now....

We just got a brand new niece, thanks to Ashlea and Juan on Thursday May 8 @ 10:33am she is so precious and everyone is just loving her to pieces right now. Bella her big sister is adjusting ok, but with mom AND dad recovering its been tough on them, but things are going well considering...

Rusty and I do a final walk through on our house on May 21 and then once we sign off on the house we can close! which will probably be May 29! We are SO excited and can't wait! Mom is sad cause she is used to us being there but she'll be fine she still has the two kiddos to chase around

Carrson is doing well he is up to 6 teeth now (its going REALLY slow) but I was a slow teether too and all mine came in just fine so we arent worried. He likes to spend his time in the back yard with the dogs and jumping on the trampoline, he just learned how to jump with both feet and its so cute!

Thats about it for us I'll try to update at least once a week!
